THE Trinity roundabout choke is the consequence of very poor infrastructure planning by Bathurst Regional Council.
Extensive housing development has been permitted, with no appropriate improvement in road infrastructure.
This has been the repeat story so many times in and around Bathurst.
Durham Street is but another example.
Extensive and increasing development has been allowed along Ophir Road and Eglinton with no forward planning for known road transport increase.
While on traffic congestion, make George Street one way north and Rankin one way south. Save a lot of problems in the city centre.
