The webinar will focus on federal government incentives for businesses affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as strategies to help navigate the uncertain period.
Board members Zena Montgomerie and Angus Edwards will make separate presentations in relation to the key focus areas.
Bathurst Business Chamber president Catherine Fitzsimons said the event will allow local business owners and representative to discuss their concerns in a supportive environment.
"It will be different from our regular after hours events, but web conferencing has become the new normal for most people in business, so we thought we'd follow suit," Ms Fitzsimons said.
"We'll cover the immediate help available for businesses [job keeper payments, increased asset write-off etc.], as well as strategies to stay afloat both during and after the COVID-19 crisis."
Ms Fitzsimons said the economic cleanup from the COVID-19 pandemic will be substantial, and businesses need to be prepared for a changed business environment.
"The fall-out from this could go on for a long time, and we need to be ready to operate in a different economic landscape," she said.
"In the meantime, it's important for local businesses to stay in touch with one another, as we're all weathering this storm together."
The COVID-19 pandemic has also prompted the chamber to cancel the 2020 Carillon Business Awards, but Ms Fitzsimons said they will look to recognise local businesses via other means.
"We have now doubt this situation will give rise to unique and innovative business strategies, which we hope to recognise and promote when they arise," she said.
Tuesday's webinar will get under way at 5pm. To register, visit bathurstbusiness.com.au/chamber-events.
