They are players who are now being remembered.
While Bathurst Panthers president Dennis Comerford admitted it was an idea born out of boredom as coronavirus has put the current season on hold, he has enjoyed the response to his Facebook challenge to name the club's best.
Each day Comerford calls for nominations for specific positions and he will eventually announce the final team as voted by Panthers players and fans.
"Panthers have been there for the last 20 years ... and there have been some damn good players over the years," Comerford said.
"I thought 'Let's just try to have a bit of fun'. It means nothing at the end of the day, it's not a competition, it's just to get current players and ex-players and fans to have a bit of fun.
"I guess in a way it's getting some of our ex-players back involved and talking about old times. That wasn't necessarily the idea in the first place, but it's come about as a natural progression of this.
"It brings back memories and people can have a bit of a laugh about it."
The list of men who have called themselves Bathurst Panthers have included a number with NRL experience - the likes of William 'Bubba' Kennedy, Keith Blackett, Dave Elvy, Andrew Hinson, John Fearnley and Karl Lovell.

But there have been Group 10, Western Division and NSW Country representatives as well and as Comerford pointed out, players from right across the years have been nominated.
"There have been some names there where I guess I've been a little, well not shocked, but I thought there might be a few more current names up there rather than the old ones," he said.
"People like Andrew Hinson, gee he goes back a long way, and Jason Thorne and those sort of blokes.
"Ryan Drew, who most people probably wouldn't even know but was a really good player, is another name who came up.
"We get people like Nathan Rollinson and Choc Harvey, players who played well above their weight.
"It's interesting to see what games get thrown up when you get into it. It's great when someone brings up a name to see the comments saying 'Oh gee I forgot him, and hey what about so and so.'
"We are seeing a few names getting thrown up that haven't been mentioned in a long time."
The team will include a full bench and Comerford feels nominations for those positions will be interesting as well.
"One person that sticks in my mind, and I reckon we won our second grand final because of him is Karl Lovell," he said.
"He was only ever used off the bench because he wouldn't train, but I reckon we won that grand final off the back of him because he was so big and strong."
