ONE person in the Western NSW Local Health District remains sick with coronavirus the day before statewide lockdowns are due to be eased.

The person, who lives in the Orange local government area, is receiving medical treatment but is not in hospital.
The overall number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Western NSW Local Health District, which includes Bathurst, is stable at 45, according to the latest update.
Bathurst has had a total of nine cases, but none are now active.
While many local government areas in the region have had virus cases, a number have had none at all, including Cowra, Forbes and Oberon.
Western NSW Local Health District executive director for Aboriginal health and wellbeing, Brendon Cutmore, warned that while there have been no new cases since April 19, the region is not coronavirus free.
Across Australia, 6746 cases of the virus have been recorded, with about 1100 still considered 'active'.
Nationally, 90 people have died from the virus, including 42 in NSW.
From Friday, virus restrictions will be eased with two visitors now allowed to travel anywhere in the state to visit family and friends at their home.
Meanwhile, a new report shows that more than one million Australians are expected to apply for unemployment benefits because of COVID-19.

Tips from the health district
- Clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an alcohol-based rub
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
- Stay home if you are sick
- Keep your distance from others as much as possible through social distancing.
