HE certainly is not the best behaved member of Nathan Hurst's Eglinton stable, but on Sunday Jimmy Tulhurst became its latest winner.

Over the past month Hurst has enjoyed a good run of success, with Jimmy Tulhurst's victory at the Bathurst Paceway his 15th training win of the season. He also boasts 48 minor placings.
"It's been not too bad [lately], we've got a few maidens that we've been working with coming through now," Hurst said.
"He's [Jimmy Tulhurst] got a lot of ability, but a lot of tricks, so it's taken a long time to get him here.
"He's been in work a long time, it's just taken him that long to get sorted out."

While Jimmy Tulhurst galloped and was out of the draw in his first start when placing seventh last month, he still started Sunday's Forbes Services Memorial Club Maiden Pace (1,730 metres) as the $1.95 favourite.
From barrier seven with Hurst in the gig he began well and crossed to the lead, while second favourite Igotcha ($5) galloped, dropped to the rear and ended up finishing last.
The three-year-old Big Jim x Tulhurst Eden gelding travelled well in front for Hurst and as the bell sounded, held a four metre advantage over Jilliby Monkey in the trail.
He covered the first half in a 62.4 seconds split, but more telling was when Hurst pinched a 30.5 third quarter.
"That makes a lot of difference if you are not going 28 down there, 30 was a good quarter and it meant he could kick home," the trainer-driver said.
And kick he did.
On balancing in the home straight Jimmy Tulhurst put eight metres on his closest rival and though he did lose a little focus as he sprinted towards the post, his lead never looked threatened.
He won by 5.2m over Jilliby Monkey ($21, Jane Morris) with The Ringmaster ($5) a head back in third.
"He can pull on occasion, but if he gets in front he settles good, so once he got in front, that was a big help," Hurst said.
"He's got a bit of speed, but he sort of tends to race horses better than to go himself."
Jimmy Tulhurst rated 2:01.5 for the win, the race caller summing it perfectly when declaring "He's pretty green, but he's got some talent."
It was Nathan Hurst's ninth win the gig for the season.
