The business originally closed its George Street doors back in late March, around the time the strict coronavirus regulations came into place.
As business was slow in the area, owner Suzie New decided to temporarily close the shop, seeing it as a perfect time to do some maintenance and get some new stock in.
With those unfamiliar with Mooi Plants, its a boutique nursery - as the name might suggest - and it stocks a wide variety of indoor plants including philodendrons, monstera deliciosas and begonias.
Plants range from easy-to-grow ones, to plants that might provide more of a challenge to maintain for some people.
Ms New said she's excited to open her doors again after the brief closure.
"We've had lots of messages from people asking when I'll be back open," she said.
"In that time, we've been thinking about and looking at going online, which we wouldn't normally do.
"Plants are amazing and they last forever if you look after them correctly.
"I also help people to find the right plant and the right position for it."
For people that are short of a Mother's Day gift, Mooi Plants has a wide variety of plants and pots that would make an ideal gift.
"There's lots of lovely things for Mother's Day," she said.
"Every mum would love a plant."
Ms New sources her plants from an Australian-based supplier at Dural.
Mooi Plants will be open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10am-4pm.
