Improving road safety
The NSW Government has recently announced funding for two important road safety upgrade projects totalling more than $3 million, including:
- $2.4 Million for Sofala Road: This project includes road widening and curve improvement. Works have commenced and will take around two months to complete.
- $650 000 for Ophir Road bridge replacement: Council is finalising the design for this work with the contract to be out end of this year.
I would like to thank Paul Toole and the State Government for supporting these important road safety projects.
