Rusty Nails [Dr Kate Smith] will be joined by a host of old Cabaret Kite favourites, such as Gabbi Bolt, Michelle Griffin, Smith & Jones, Rob Shannon and Drew Fairley, as well as a surprise international guest.
The online event will be aired on the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre [BMEC] Facebook page, and Rusty Nails said she's looking forward to entertaining the community from the comfort of their kitchens.
"I have been stuck in BMEC for three and a half months without a soul to talk to, so she's been doing what everybody else has been doing: baking sourdough bread and renovating,' she said.
"With all live venues closed at the moment, we're getting together in these times of crisis for one great big party in our kitchens."
Each performer will be 'socially distancing' at a host of recognisable cultural venues.
"Audiences can expect the usual mix of professional and community acts performing music and comedy at a whole bunch of mystery locations," Rusty Nails said.
"With social distancing in place, we obviously can't all be together in BMEC, but audience members are highly encouraged to get 'up close and personal' with their screens."
The free event will invite audience members to make a donation to support local artists, who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic due to restrictions around mass gatherings and venue closures.
"Artists don't qualify for JobKeeper because most of our work is predominantly on a short-term contractual basis," Rusty Nails said.
"We're having to be very resilient and innovative in how we earn income at the moment, so any support is much appreciated."
The event will get under way from 7.30pm, and Rusty Nails recommends everyone gets a cup of tea [or a glass of wine], their best speakers and comfiest slippers ready.
