It was announced last week by the NSW Government that from this Saturday fitness, gymnasiums, pilates, yoga and dance studios could reopen with up to 10 people per class and 100 people in an indoor venue.
The four-square metre rule must always be applied.
Pollet's chief instructor Ian Pollet said it'll be good for people to go back to some sense of normalness.
"Just to have the activity, to get your body fit and see your friends again and be back in the community, that's very important," he said.
"It's good to back to some pattern of normalness."
Pollet's introduced outdoor boot camps in recent weeks and while numbers have been good, they have dropped off as the temperature has too.
"The boot camps have been okay, but it has been very cold, so it's probably kept people out the loop a bit," he said.
"There's been quite a few people that have been very well disciplined in their training, which has been very good to hear."
While the past few months haven't been easy for Pollet's, Pollet said he understands why the restrictions had to be introduced.
"It hasn't been a pleasant trip, but it was necessary," he said.
"It's not something we've liked, but you've got to go with what the experts have said.
"We got over [the virus] a little bit now, so let's move forward."
Pollet said the martial arts centre will follow strict rules for its patrons.
"You've got to be mindful with what our government has said and how we've got to obey the rules," he said.
"When people come in, we're checking their temperature, checking if everything is clean, making sure people in leave so many minutes before the next people come in.
"We've got to make sure those guidelines are being followed."
Pollet said he expects classes to book out quickly when the centre reopens.
"A lot of people are tired at being at home and not doing things they've been used to," he said.
