The centre was originally forced to close back in March inline with coronavirus regulations, but the centre has now been able to reopen thanks to the easing of certain restrictions.
It's been a long time coming for casual bowlers, as well as the more serious ones, including Lindsay Pocknall, Ian Gordon and Clive Bateman.
The three were regular bowlers at the centre prior to the coronavirus and they were delighted to be back doing what they love on Monday morning.
In fact the three were bowling every week before the coronavirus and they've all taken up the activity in recent years.
"I use to do it years back," Bateman recalls.
"I've been preoccupying myself at home pretty miserably."
Gordon has faired a little bit better during lockdown.
"It's been okay. I've been getting into the jigsaws," he said.
The centre has taken extra precautions, which are inline with COVID-safe plans.
Every second chair has been tapped off and staff are wiping down everything after they've been used according to owner Eileen Price.
"We were closed for 12 weeks exactly and it has been very, very hard," she said, following the centre's reopening on Saturday.
"It's very exciting to be reopen and all my staff is back, the cafe is open too.
"We're allowed up to 100 people, which is great."
The centre is open 10am to late on weekends, while it is open from 10am to 9pm on weekdays.
