Souffrant has had three starts so far for the Bathurst trainer since coming over from the Nathan Hobson stable, finishing around mid-field on each attempt.
He lines up in the Keady Family and Nalder Family Benchmark 58 Handicap (1,600 metres) carrying 61 kilos, but will receive some relief with apprentice Clayton Gallagher on board.
The five-year-old Sebring runner has notched six career wins from 32 starts and has now found his way to a sixth different trainer.
Meanwhile, fellow Bathurst trainer Gayna Williams will once again take Bad Boy For Love to the city for a crack at a Highway Handicap.
The Wanted gelding has never been far off the pace in his three previous Highway outings on softer ground and should find the heavy track on Saturday of little concern.
