WARWICK Artis in his letter to the Advocate (A Park On The Mount Would Provide A Better View Of History, July 7) has got it right in calling for the proposed statue of Windradyne to be placed in the Haymarket Reserve and right again in suggesting a Windradyne Peace Park on the top of Wahluu (Mount Panorama).

Perhaps the marriage of these two ideas could be considered in light of where this brave man might prefer to be remembered: in the foreigners' town or on a familiar mountain where he might be above the wretched things wreaked upon his kindred and friends.
