Ex-Services were hungry for their first points of the season after taking a hard defeat to St Pat's a week earlier, and on the back of goals from Haylea Butcherine and Larissa Gallard they got what they were looking forward.
Willott's injury could rob City of much needed fire power.
Long said it's unclear how bad Willott's injury is but the early signs are not positive.
"I'm not sure whether she'll be back in this season. She's having scans on Monday on her shoulder," she said.
"Jenny Roberts had a jaw injury as well so it was just one of those days.
"You can't underestimate us at Bathurst City, and if we're going to have a bad loss this season then we're hoping that it's this one."
Long said Ex-Services were definitely the better side on the day.
Her team's build up play has been encouraging over the opening two rounds, but they've got to make better use of what comes their way.
"Orange played well but it was one of those days where we had plenty of shots and we couldn't put them away," Long said.
"The good thing is that it's only round two but the thing we need to be doing is scoring goals."
City put emphasis on their finishing after they scored a 3-2 win over Souths, where they missed several chances to increase that margin.
However, it remains an area for City to hone in on after they put several chances just wide of the mark throughout the match.
