One of the major side issues to the COVID-19 situation is the unfortunate confusion between what is law and what is advice.
NSW Health, via minister Brad Hazzard, determines the nature of what becomes enforceable rules aimed at limiting the spread of the virus. Other individuals or entities then issue advice based on those rules.

However, advice is not law, it is merely suggestions, nothing more.
It has become disturbing to note how confusion and sometimes wilful ignorance of that difference has influenced even professional organisations to in turn wrongly advise their members on what should be done, where and how.
Perhaps those who make such interpretations should first read what a rule says before reading into it things which simply are not there.
