Turns out they've both improved... Equally.
The Goats and Bulls once again played out a 1-all draw in an entertaining clash at Proctor Park on Saturday night.
Panorama found a 1-0 lead in the opening half through Ryan Peacock but then had to battle against a much-improved Bulls side when the teams returns from the sheds.
The defence held on until Bulls found their equaliser inside the last 15 minutes.
Panorama manager Brent Osborne said the result was one both teams could be proud of.
"I thought we were better in the first half and they were better in the second. We could have snatched the win at the end of it but looking at the balance of the game a draw feels like a fair result," he said.
"For the first 45 we were pumped and it was probably some of the best footy that we've played. We were really happy with how that went. We then came out maybe a bit heavy in the legs or trying to defend the lead instead of looking for another goal.
"We invited a bit of pressure on ourselves and they took advantage of that. They're a quality side. Overall it was a really good game."
Peacock opened the scoring when he spun away from a Bulls defender and found the space to put away a shot from the penalty area.
Panorama rallied around the goal and continued to create chances but Bulls picked up the pace after the half-time break.
The hosts defensive resolve was better than their efforts in attack but it eventually broke down with a win in sight.
"They had a few chances and we were weathering the storm but they were putting a lot of pressure on us," Osborne said.
"Eventually they got away, and that can happen. We would have loved the win but the draw was okay.
"They'll be there at the pointy end of the year, that's for sure, so it's great that we can go with them."
Missing out on a victory cost Panorama a chance to jump the Bulls and go up to second on the ladder and the team now drop a place to fifth, following Barnestoneworth's win over competition leaders Macquarie.
The weekend's results have heated up the battle for finals positions.
That battle gets more intense this Thursday evening with Panorama hosts Barnestoneworth.
"The importance of that clash is huge. If we don't win that one then we might be in a bit of strife," Osborne said.
"Our defensive shape in the first half was great. They made the changes we wanted to make and we wanted to play a high line and limit the space in the midfield. We went away from that into the second half.
"If we can play two of those first halves again then we'll do well."
Kick-off will be 6.30pm.
