The bureau says snow is possible Saturday and Sunday as cold fronts - which will keep Bathurst's maximum temperatures in the single digits - cross NSW.
The bureau's MetEye forecaster shows snow east, west and south of Bathurst in the early hours of Saturday and on Bathurst city itself at 7am.
For Sunday, the MetEye forecaster again shows snow east, west and south of Bathurst in the early hours.

Transport for NSW has warned of the potential for road closures and fallen trees in the district.
"Motorists need to be aware black ice occurs when surface moisture and dew freeze on the road at dawn or dusk, creating a dangerously slippery surface," a spokesperson said.
"Black ice is hard to see when driving and can remain in shaded or low-lying areas even during fine days."
