She was presented with her Queen's Guide Award - the peak achievement award for youth members of Guides Australia - at a Zoom ceremony held on Saturday.
Acting district manager Lesley Buchan said Sarah, from Bathurst Senior Guides, completed her final interview for the Queen's Guide and moved to Port Macquarie just as everything closed down for COVID-19.
"Finally, word came through that she was successful," Ms Buchan said.

"Sarah chose to challenge herself with the outdoor focus and gained a Trefoil 3 in air activities and in canoeing and organised a canoeing expedition for her unit on the Georges River in Sydney.
"Other challenges included developing her driving skills, helping at the Whiddon nursing home at Kelso, attending a youth leadership training weekend and a challenge in each of the six fundamentals of Guiding - promise and law; Guiding traditions; service; outdoors; world Guiding and patrol system.
"Having turned 18, Sarah has become an Olave - the section of Guiding for young women 18 to 30 years.
"All members and parents of Bathurst District Guides wish Sarah well for the future."
Ms Buchan said girls aged six-and-a-half to 18 years who would like to challenge themselves to do new and exciting things now that winter sport is finishing should consider joining Guides.
"Girls can attend two meetings with a unit for their age group to see if they like it," she said.
"The ActiveKids voucher can be used as part of the membership fee, which is for 12 months.
"Ladies who enjoy challenges and would like to help girls develop leadership and life skills could consider becoming a Guide leader.
