COVID-19 restrictions have forced a rethink of how the annual dinner will be run this year but mayor Bobby Bourke welcomed news that it could be run at all.
The dinner will be held at Rydges Mount Panorama next Thursday, October 15, starting at 6.30pm, and tickets are on sale now.
"We have secured interviews with Jamie Whincup, Scott McLaughlin, Chaz Mostert and Will Davison and these will be shown at the dinner," Cr Bourke said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Tickets are being sold in either tables of four or six to meet current health guidelines. Ticket sales are limited to 90 attendees.
A table of four is $280 and a table of six is $430. Individual tickets are not available.
Cr Bourke said council's other off-track events activities were already proving popular.
"The VERTO Scavenger Hunt has attracted more than 600 participants in the first week and more than 1500 scavenger hunt tasks have been completed by participants," he said.
"Ten new scavenger hunt tasks were released over the weekend."
The window display competition has also returned and registrations closed on Monday.
And entries are still open in the Bathurst 10000 colouring-in competition. Participants are asked to show off their best and brightest colours for a chance to win one of 80 Supercars-themed stationery packs.
Entries close at 5pm on October 18.
