The Grind, owned by the Bathurst RSL Club, will donate 50 cents from every coffee sold on Saturday to assist Lifeline Central West carry out vital crisis support services.
Bathurst RSL Club marketing manager Janneke van der Sterren said the club shares a fruitful relationship with Lifeline and wanted to contribute to a worthwhile local cause.
"Lifeline offers a range of mental health support services throughout the region, so we know any funds raised will go towards assistance for locals doing it tough," Ms van der Sterren said.
"Saturday is generally a busy day for The Grind, with an average of 350 orders including anywhere from one to 10 coffees, so we hope to raise a welcome figure."
The RSL Club also has $2 Lifeline 'tap and go' donation machines situated throughout the venue.
Lifeline Central West chief executive officer Stephanie Robinson said the funds raised will go a long way to support the organisation's services.
"Every little bit helps, and I think there's a great alignment between coffee and helping perk people up," Ms Robinson said.
Ms Robinson said Lifeline Central West has experienced a busy period in recent months, with the impact of COVID-19 a key topic for concern.
"A few weeks ago, we had 3326 calls in one day, which is a record for us," she said.
"It's concerning, yes, but the positive side of it is people are talking about mental health more than ever before, which shows they are heeding the warning signs."
