The project - Kisaru Nkera Initiatives (KINI) - is a non-profit organisation helping Maasai children and their communities in Kenya to a better life through education, health care services, community programs and creating a safe environment for children.
KINI is run by Barbara Parkins, a passionate and caring Australian who has dedicated her life to rescuing children.

Inner Wheel is an international women's organisation embracing 104 countries and allows dedicated women to share their friendship, passion for community service and take action to create lasting change.
Inner Wheel can trace its origins to almost 100 years, when it was founded by Margarette Golding in Manchester, back in 1924.
The Inner Wheel Club of Bathurst meets once a month and is looking for new members.
