In the end four of the five scheduled matches were washed-out after rain fell across the region, as both Bathurst and Orange received more than 10 millimetres of rain by later afternoon.
Only the CYMS versus Centennials Bulls match in Orange was played, with CYMS' chasing down Bulls at Wade Park
All matches that were washout were declared draws and both teams will share the points.
CYMS 3-171 (33.2) defeated CENTENNIALS BULLS 5-166 (c/c) by seven wickets
Strong knocks from Thomas Belmonte (46) and Tom Satterthwaite (48) lead CYMS to a seven wicket win over Centennials Bulls.
Played in damp conditions at Wade Park, CYMS won the toss and sent Centennials into bat.
Bulls had failed to score triple figures in their opening two rounds, but handy knocks of 66 and 45 by Blake Aubin and Tyler Horton respectively saw Bulls finishing their reduced innings of 36 overs at 5-166.
But CYMS caught Bulls with some seven wickets and three overs to spare, with Thomas Belmonte (46) and Tom Satterthwaite (48) leading the way for the hosts with the bat.
CYMS' Anguls Wilson was the best player with the ball from either team, taking 3-33 off seven overs.
CAVALIERS 3/74 versus ORANGE CITY washed-out
It should've been a mouth-watering clash between two of the leading sides in the competition, but unfortunately rain cancelled the Cavaliers versus Orange City showdown at Riawena Oval.
In the end only 18 overs were played, with Lachlan Coyte leading the way with 28 runs.
ST PAT'S OLD BOYS versus CENTRALS washed-out
St Pat's Old Boys were also meant to play Centrals across the road at Morse Park 1, but that was called-off without a ball bowled.
CITY COLTS 3-75 (13 overs) versus KINROSS washed-out
The City Colts versus Kinross match was the only Bathurst game that got underway.
Dave Sellers (15) and Henry Shoemark (36 not out) opened the batting for the hosts at Loco Oval, only for the match to be called off due to the rain after 13 overs, with Colts at 3-75 before the game was called off due to the rain.
RUGBY UNION versus BATHURST CITY washed-out
Bathurst City had just taken the covers off and were about to do the coin toss at the Sportsground before the rain started to come down, in their scheduled match against Rugby Union.
Redbacks skipper Joey Coughlan said it wasn't the worst scenario, considering his team are battling injuries.
"We've got a few injuries at the moment," he said.
"We weren't happy that it was washed out - we all like playing cricket - but it wasn't the worst result as we split the points now because wash outs use to be nothing but now we share the points."
