After three seasons with the Sydney Thunder, Griffith has made the switch to the Sixers in a bid to advance her own game.
Part of that mission for the Bathurst talent is to back herself to strike when thrown the ball.
While she was not given the opportunity in the Sixers' rain-shortened match against the Melbourne Renegades on Sunday, she did take 2-10 in her debut in magenta against Adelaide.
The first of those wickets came with her first delivery for the Sixers as she hit a good length and got late movement.
It is the sort of ball Griffith wants to back herself to bowl as both she and her team-mates know she's a threat if she executes.
"When I came across to the Sixers I wanted to adopt that attacking brand of cricket and my own unique way of doing that is to trust in my own abilities," she told The Roar.
"That's something I have struggled with over the last few years, just trusting my ability.
"I have the feeling that I have come across to a team that really have faith in my ability and are really vocal about it. It has been super liberating for me to go out on the park and if my team-mates can see it, I should be able to as well."
Griffith's next chance comes on Wednesday when the Sixers face reigning champions Brisbane Heat at Blacktown International Sportspark.
After Sunday's win, the Sixers' second of WBBL06, they sat second on the ladder.
Like the Sixers, Heat has had two of its scheduled games declared a wash-out but they have won one of their two completed fixtures.
