BATHURST motorists have access to some of the cheapest petrol prices in the state.
According to the NRMA, for the week ending November 8, Bathurst had the fourth best average price for unleaded fuel and the lowest average for diesel.
Bathurst's average of 112.9 cents per litre for unleaded was bested only by Muswellbrook (104.7), Lithgow (112.6) and Gunnedah (112.7).

The average price for diesel in Bathurst, 113.7 cents per litre, was 1.2 cents per litre cheaper than the next placed town, Gunnedah.
Also in the top five were Orange (115.0), Buronga (115.2) and Lithgow (115.2).
Both of Bathurst's averages for unleaded and diesel had fallen from the previous week, consistent with other regional areas.
"Prices in Sydney rose 11 cents a litre in the past week in line with the rising price cycle, and are expected to hit about 133 in the next week," the NRMA said.
"In regional areas prices are coming down, Maitland had the biggest drop in the past week of 10.5 cents."
Last week, average prices for unleaded and diesel in regional areas fell 0.3 cents per litre, the NRMA said
While Bathurst's average for unleaded is 112.9 cents per litre, it is possible to find this variety for much less.
As of Tuesday, both Pearl Energy and the United petrol station were offering unleaded for 99.9 cents per litre.
Meanwhile, both Metros, the Caltex near Stockland Drive and the Kelso 7-Eleven were all priced below 112.9 cents per litre.
Bathurst's best price was lower than the best price in Muswellbook, despite it having the top average price out of the locations monitored by the NRMA.
Lithgow and Gunnedah retailers also priced above 99.9 cents per litre, even though those locations had better averages.
Three Bathurst retailers have diesel priced at under $1 per litre: Pearl Energy (97.9), the United (97.9) and the Metro on Rocket Street (99.9).
Three others were priced below the city's average diesel price.
