The latest addition to the Generocity Church's Café on Corporation venture was officially opened by Bathurst MP Paul Toole on Saturday following a $50,000 grant from the NSW Government.

The initiative, which aims to create job opportunities for people living with a disability, has been described as a success story in the making with the funding used to build an outdoor deck at the takeaway outlet.
It was also a chance to celebrate Café on Corporation's first birthday, after it was originally able to start business thanks to an initial $20,000 grant.

Mr Toole said the Generocity Church had excelled in its vision to provide employment, a workplace and training to young adults within the disability sector of the community.
"This really is a success story in the making and I can only see Café on Corporation going from strength to strength," he said.
"Pastor Caleb Dwyer and Carol Smith have been driving forces in getting the café up and running. However, it's been a real team effort from everyone involved and what they are achieving is something they should be very proud of."
Pastor Dwyer said they have achieved their goal of partnering with local disability services, people living with disabilities, their carers' and the local community to provide qualify coffee and food.
"The new deck allows us to increase capacity and trade for the café and into the future we are aiming at putting shade sails over the deck to provide a sit-down dining experience," he said.
"And we are so grateful to all the local businesses who have got behind us, especially Paul Toole and the state government for its unwavering support for Café on Corporation."
Café on Corporation is located at 9 Corporation Avenue.
