The Neighbourhood Centre (TNC) has wonderful volunteers in our community who are constantly spreading kindness - by sending encouraging cards to those who are isolated in our "Happy Mail Program", visiting the elderly in our Community Visitor Scheme or giving their time through volunteering at TNC and around Bathurst.
Our Men Connect group renovates bicycles to donate and helps to pack hampers for those in need.
If you would like to "spread the kindness" around our beautiful town through volunteering, please don't hesitate to contact Louise Hickey at TNC.
Other great programs and services available include Migrant Support and D'Caf - supporting those with dementia and their carers.
We're also celebrating this special day with a spectacular giveaway: the Neighbourhood Centre and Rotary Club are giving away a mobility scooter valued at over $4000.
Mobility scooters make a big difference in someone's life, allowing access to places and events which they may not have had before.
Share your story of how this can make a difference in your life, via admin@binc.org.au, by November 25 for a chance to win this gift.
More details can be found at www.binc.org.au and winners will be announced on November 30 on our Facebook page and website.
