For the fourth time in her career, Turnbull drove the winner in Young's annual Cherry Cup.
The star The Lagoon trainer-driver had found herself spending a longer than anticipated stint in Victoria this season due to the COVID-19 border closures.
But typically Turnbull made the most of the situation as she notched up 41 winners across seven different tracks while in Victoria.
It included the Group 1 Queen Of the Pacific with Speak No Evil and the Group 2 Breeders Crown Championship for four-year-old geldings aboard Hurricane Harley.
With New South Wales reopening the border with Victoria last Monday, Turnbull was finally able to head back to her base at The Lagoon.
Young's meeting on Friday night was her first back in her home state and Turnbull showed exactly why she is regarded as one of New South Wales' finest drivers.
She took four members of her team to the meeting and notched up a pair of wins, a second and a third placing, the highlight of which was Shoobee Doo's Cherry Cup success.
Turnbull first won the annual feature in 2011 when driving Avonnova to a 6.1m victory for her father-trainer Steve Turnbull.
She won again in 2013 (Im Blue Double Dee) and 2016 (Parramatta) and punters backed her to make it four Cherry Cup's on Friday as Shoobee Doo held $2.40 favouritism.
They were not disappointed.
From barrier nine Shoobee Doo did not feature in the early battle for the lead, but Turnbull guided him three wide and he settled outside leader Send It ($2.50).
There was two meters between the pair with a lap to go, the duo then clocking a 28 seconds third sectional to kick away from their rivals.
Send It led into the home straight but Shoobee Doo, despite running the entire 2100m feature without cover, nosed in front in his final strides. He won by a half head in a 1:58.4 mile rate, the win his ninth from 16 starts this season.
