Integrated Design Group's top gong at the recent Australian Institute of Architects NSW Country Division Awards for its work on the Bathurst Rail Museum is one of three awards for which the museum has been responsible.
Calare Civil won a state Steel Design Excellence Award from the Australian Steel Institute recently and is now up for a national award.

"We nominated and won the award for small buildings under $5 million," structural engineer Sean Johnson said.
"The award celebrates high standards across all elements of the Australian steel supply chain and the combined works of Australian steel manufacturers, architects, engineers, builders, fabricators and distributors, all of which were local businesses in this case.
"Consequently, we are now shortlisted for the national award against four other state divisions, which will be announced on December 16."
At the Museums and Galleries of NSW Imagine Awards, meanwhile, the Bathurst Rail Museum won the award for new museum in the innovation and resilience category.
The category aimed to recognise museums and galleries' efforts during hardship and celebrate excellence and innovation in exhibition practice, resilience building projects and engagement programs.
Integrated Design Group architects worked closely with Bathurst Regional Council on plans for the Bathurst Rail Museum, while the consultant team included Calare Civil.
The museum opened early this year.
