Bathurst in a Box has three local produce items that complement a range of Christmas recipes.
It is being promoted as a gift idea for locals' friends or relatives elsewhere in the country or for former locals who have moved away and want a taste of home.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The boxes include a 500g jar of honey from the Beekeeper's Inn at Vittoria, 300g jam from Illa Langa Farm on Kelso's outskirts, and a choice of Murrungundy Pistachios or Harvest Café and Store Dukkah.
The Bathurst in a Box buyer can choose from a number of jams from Illa Langa: pimped plum, summer berry, quince or cracking Christmas marmalade.
The gift boxes also feature a Bathurst magnet to keep on the fridge as a memento of where the produce comes from.
Mayor Bobby Bourke said the boxes are a way to support the local economy while showing off Bathurst's spectacular produce and make a great gift to send to colleagues, family members and friends from afar this year.
"The boxes have something for everyone to include in their Christmas cooking, showcasing items from our wonderful local producers," he said.
Bathurst in a Box gift packs are $40 (including postage around Australia).
