The Bathurst City bowler had managed a couple of three-wicket hauls this season, but when playing for Bathurst City against Kinross in the Bathurst Oranger Inter District Cricket, he got himself more than just five, when he snagged himself seven in his side's first innings six-wicket win.
Understandably Moxon - who has taken a competition joint-high of 15 wickets this season - was thrilled with his performance.

"That was the first time I've had more than five wickets," he said.
"It's always good when you get a lot of wickets. This year I've got a lot of three-fors but I haven't been able to execute those last couple of wickets to get the five, so it was really good to get the five and then to push even more to get the seven.
"There were some pretty tight lines on the day, as we had a plan to bowl how we did, executing it really well. I was lucky Matt Willis took some nice catches for me and we had young Archie Carroll, a young boy who plays for Scots All Saints, who was wicketkeeping. He took a couple of catches too, which was really good for his confident.
"It was a great day, a beautiful day to bowl not being too hot. It was actually quite enjoyable to play on the day."
Moxon took 7-25 off 13 overs in a scintillating spell with the ball, taking care of opening batsmen Mac Webster (who top scored for Kinross with 30) and Charlie Tink (nine), before he dismissed Tom Kiss (eight), Luke Hunter (seven), Dudley Shepherd (two), Jonothan Rasmussen (six) and Charlie Condon (three).
The rest of the Redbacks wickets were taken by Joey Coughlan (2-31) and Cooper Warry (1-13).
And while no one scored an impress total with the bat, Redbacks caught Kinross' total of 100 in just 35 overs, with some six wickets to spare.
Tom Lynch top scored with 28 runs, while Mark Day remains not out with 25.
As wins have been hard to come by for Redbacks, Moxon said he and the team were over the moon to get a first innings victory but now the next goal is the outright next Saturday.
"We were coming into the game knowing that we had an opportunity to get a win and we just believed in ourselves," he said.
"We've got a very young side and we've got to rebuild, so to get that win iis going to give us a lot of confidence going into next week to get the outright and then heading into the one-day games after Christmas.
"We're slightly confident [of getting the outright win]. It's suppose to rain all week, so it'll be a bit difficult, but that'll be our plan of attack."
