THREE people have been injured in a single vehicle crash in Kelso on Wednesday morning.
The group was travelling along Sofala Road near the Eleven Mile Drive intersection about 6am when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree.
Emergency services attended the scene and treated the occupants of the vehicle.
A 49-year-old female suffered injuries to her left arm and a 15-year-old male suffered minor head injuries, while a 66-year-old male was experiencing chest pains.
All three patients were reported being in a stable condition and were transported to Orange Hospital for further treatment.
Chief Inspector, Peter Rowlands, from NSW Ambulance said the accident had the potential to be far worse.
"Any crash involving a motor vehicle is concerning for emergency services," he said.
"There are a number of different situations we need to be ready for.
"We really want to encourage drivers to be vigilant and alert when getting behind the wheel over the holidays.
"Please drive to the conditions and look out for wildlife on the roads."
People are advised to avoid the area if possible and exercise caution while travelling.
