Bathurst Glass was established by the Taylor family in 1953 and remained a family-owned business for two generations, with Warren beginning his stint in the business in 1967.
He and wife Julie ran the business together for 30 years up until their retirement on November 30.
The Logan Group, which is also an Australian family-owned and operated business, has acquired Bathurst Glass.
The group's portfolio of companies includes a world class powder coat facility, glass processing plant, Sydney-based reseller Vision 3 Windows and Doors and leading NSW manufacturer Wideline Windows and Doors.
The brand name will become Bathurst Glass and Windows, with business operations to be led by general manager Rob Small and his dedicated team.
Manufacturing will continue to operate from the Bathurst facility, supporting local employment and maintaining a direct supply chain that works to build capability in the local community.
