BizMonth is a month-long event that takes place in Bathurst each September, with the purpose of celebrating businesses and providing educational opportunities for business owners and their staff.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the events associated with BizMonth had to be run differently, but still proved successful.
These events were detailed in a report by council's director of Environmental, Planning and Building Services, Neil Southorn, which was released in December.
During BizMonth, council offered three seminars and arranged for musicians to play in Kings Parade throughout the month.

"This initiative was very well received by the public and local businesses alike and it is hoped it can continue throughout the summer of 2020/21," Mr Southorn said.
The Upstairs Startup Hub, the Rotary Club of Bathurst, and the Bathurst Business Chamber also hosted events.
One of the biggest successes of the month was the BizMonth Business Lunch, which featured guest speaker Gus Balbontin, appearing remotely from Melbourne.
Mr Balbontin, a former executive at Lonely Planet, spoke about resilience and change, both key features of any business planning to survive in the current economic climate.
Councillors praised his presentation highly.
"The lunch with the speaker, by electronically, was great fun; he was amazing actually, he was terrific," Cr Monica Morse said.
Deputy mayor Ian North said Gus Balbontin "was one of the most dynamic people I have ever come across and I don't think I met one person coming out of the luncheon and discussion not thinking into the future".
Many of the events were made available online and picked up larger audiences as a result.
"Livestreaming of events will continue to be a feature in future years," Mr Southorn said.
