Hobart Hurricanes' all-rounder James Faulkner will likely miss the remainder of the Big Bash after re-aggravating his hamstring injury at training.

Faulkner suffered the injury against the Heat in late December but had been progressing well, according to the club.
But he has returned to Hobart for scans after aggravating his hamstring on Sunday.
"At this stage, it is unlikely that Faulkner will be able to take any further part in the tournament," the club said in a statement on Monday.
Faulkner had taken eight wickets in five matches for the Hurricanes, who have slipped to second last on the ladder after a promising start to the tournament.
