It was a win which ended a wait of close to three years to find success at the track where he posted the biggest win of his career.
Since Shoobee Doo won the prestigious Rod Fitzpatrick Memorial for Turnbull at Menangle as a two-year-old he's won some impressive races, but none of them have come at NSW headquarters.
In his next 11 runs at Menangle following that Group 3 win there had been a handful of placings, but the closest Shoobee Doo had got to another win was 1.2 metres.

The wait finally ended on Saturday as the now five-year-old saluted as the $3.40 favourite in the Chariots of Fire Feb 20 Pace (2,300m).
Turnbull had him sitting one out and one back before pulling Shoobee Doo four wide through the final bend.
He hit the front with just over 150m to go and went on to notch up his 18th career win.
