He finished with a comfortable two-shot margin over up and coming superstar youngster Rory Elphick. Justin Hadley was his usual consistent self to post 40 points for third while the scratch prize went to Cameron Richards on 22 points.
Veteran Warren Matthews was a mix of class and cunning on his way to 40 points and the A grade title, while James Woolmington and Darren Smith were only a shot away for the minors. A nice one-under par garnered the scratch for Phil Campbell
Toni Pender headed a tightly packed ladies scoreboard. Her 35 points accounted for Lousea Johnston on a countback, while Kinga MacPherson was a shot further back in third.
The dynamic duo of Anthony Gibbs and Steve Finnerty were the 'perfect couple' in firing 48 points to outlast David Gates and Geoff Coleman in the 2BBB on a countback. Daniel Stibbard and Kel Cooke had a lovely three-under to win the scratch.
A big shout out to Dee McCarthy, who had a wondrous hole-in-one on the eighth during Sunday's event that was won by Shane Hill with a magic 44 points.
Geoff Cooke and George Nicholls tied at the top of Saturday's A grade event after both players had 42 points, but in the end the wily Cooke got the nod on a countback.
Peter Ring was back in familiar territory to fire 41 points and gain third as the scratch went the way of Tim White with a fine two-under par round.
Terry Lewis and Dick O'Donnell had a ding-dong battle for B grade after both returned 39 points, Lewis emerging triumphant on a countback. Jeff Williams (38) scored a spot on the podium and the scratch has gone to Jason Woodyatt (22).
McCarthy was the premiere female in compiling 38 points to hold off Wendy Smith by a shot, Cindy Perfect was a stroke further back in third.
Dave Evans and John Lennon (48) were the 2BBB winners by a solitary shot over George Nicholls and Ian Thomas, while Tim White and Josh Hurst grabbed the scratch with 42 points.
