Council has created a program to deliver water conservation and water use lessons to preschool-aged children across the region.
The free program is designed to be used by early learning educators.

Mayor Bobby Bourke said council's program links to the Early Years Learning Framework and includes videos, activities, and other online resources.
It was created in collaboration with early learning educators, artists, and other key stakeholders.
"Each module is broken into key learning elements and uses fun activities, guided discussions, an array of activity sheets, support resources and videos to engage children in the learning," Cr Bourke said.

Children at Scallywags will be involved in the program, having already engaged Envirocom to deliver waste and sustainability programs.
Educators will work towards delivering council's new program to the centre's three to five year olds.
Other local educators are invited to attend a free one-hour webinar on Wednesday, February 10 to learn more about the early learning water education program.
