The roadworks will be carried out between 7am and 5pm on weekdays commencing on Monday, February 22, and are expected to be completed by Friday, March 12, weather permitting.

Transport for NSW said traffic control will be in place during work hours with reduced speed limits of 40 km/h and single lane closures.

Stage Two of the roadworks includes heavy patching, sealing and line marking and is aimed at repairing a 1.5 kilometre section of O'Connell Road, about six kilometres north of Oberon.

Motorists should expect changed traffic conditions and should drive to those conditions, follow directions of all signs and traffic control, and allow five minutes additional travel time.
