Rugby Union will go into their semi-final clash against CYMS this Friday night at Wade Park as heavy favourites, looking to continue their undefeated streak across all 2021 games.
A win would put Rugby Union into the first grand final since the 2017-18 Bathurst District Cricket Association decider.
The winner of Friday's match will go on to play Orange City in the grand final, after they progressed in the other semi-final due to a washout against St Pat's Old Boys.
Rugby have their sights firmly set on a Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket finals place as their number one goal, but captain Ryan Peacock said an appearance in the Twenty20 grand final would be a big boost.
"Any finals cricket you play is great for the team. It would be massive for us to get into a final again, and we've got a great chance of winning that final if we get through to it because we've already knocked over Orange City this year," he said.
"When you're playing a team you've already beaten that gives you a little bit of extra confidence. It always helps."
Rugby won their previous BOIDC meeting with CYMS by 58 runs, led by a 166-run opening standing between Sam Macpherson and Imran Qureshi.

The bat has done most of the talking for Rugby over their three Royal Hotel Cup wins - a trend you'd expect to continue.
Four Rugby top order batsmen all made valued contributions in the quarter-final triumph over Centrals, nearly a perfect copy of their success in their last pool game against Cavaliers.
Peacock said the reliability factor among the batting lineup is just one piece of Rugby's recent success across all formats.
"We've have guys who can score quickly - myself, Sam Macpherson and Brad Glasson. I think the way we play the game, the way we set our fields and the way we bowl also plays into our hands in the shorter form games," he said.
"We also have the ability to slow down scoring, and everyone's jumped on what we've tried to bring in that regard and it's been working."
Over this Friday's Twenty20 game and the remaining three days of the BOIDC competition's regular season Peacock wants to see the squad capitalise on any strong starts they can find.
"Everyone's been chipping in. The only thing that's been missing has been us kicking on and getting a really big score. We've only had the one hundred this year and there's been times where we could have had blokes score three to four of them," he said.
"That comes with time in the middle, and that's what we're getting. If we can get some momentum going into Saturday's game that would be great. It will give us a good opportunity to get some confidence ahead of the weekend."
Rugby are expected to field a full strength squad for the game which gets underway at 6.30pm.
