The 29-year-old was having a run against Kurt Hancock's squad when he came into contact with one of the under 18s boys, sustaining an identical injury to the one he experienced at England, only this time on the other foot.
He isn't certain how much time he'll spend on the sidelines but confirmed his absence for the rest of the Rams' run at the title as Hawks' Toby Westcott will feed the scrum from now on.

Cam Greenhalgh's men are fresh off an 18-14 loss to Monaro on Sunday and while the replacement didn't have much time to work his way into the squad, Siejka was impressed with how he went about his business.
"They only called him up on Thursday and that's a really hard ask for a young kid," he said.
"Once we started to click in that second half he looked a lot better. Cam's a good coach so I'm sure he'll have him going."
Getting into the specifics of the injury, Siejka not only suffered a bone break, but a high ankle sprain to-boot.
"Worst case scenario for me is 12-15 weeks," he said.
"Obviously I don't want to miss time but I'm not going to rush back if I'm not healthy... I've done that before."
Luckily for Siejka, he won't miss too much time at club level and says six games is the longest frame he can see himself sitting out for Mudgee.
"We don't start until the end of April and we're supposed to have an early bye," he said.
"We also had Cowra first so that helps. There's plenty of young blokes ready to step up. "Nathan Orr is a possibility for us as well."
