Blue Mountains poet and writer Mark O'Flynn will offer technical tips and expert insight when he presents the two half-day poetry writing sessions next month at Tremain's Mill.
The workshops are being presented by Katoomba's Varuna the National Writer's House and supported by the NSW Government's Create NSW.
Varuna's creative director, Amy Sambrooke, said participants at the workshops will have an opportunity to "gain feedback on existing work, as well as to generate new ideas".
"It's a short program with small groups, so we are hopeful that it will be something we can do more regularly in the future," she said.
The poetry workshops will be held on April 24 and 25.
Varuna says workshop numbers are strictly limited and registration is essential.
