This Sunday's opening round raises the stakes right from the get-go because it will also be doubling up as the Bathurst Cycling Club Individual Time Trial Championships.
The club are reverting back to their traditional start-finish line near the Perthville Pub as riders will be eyeing off track records, should the conditions suit.
Renshaw's Pedal Project have once again thrown their support behind the series, retaining their naming rights.
Bathurst Cycling Club road co-ordinator Glen Partridge said it's great to see the popular format making a return in 2021.
"The series is looking really promising because it's been well supported once again. Renshaw's Pedal Project have come on board again as our sponsor and this year we'll have nine rounds," he said.
"This Sunday will also be the club time trial championships, done over the course which starts by the Perthville Pub. They wanted to go back to the old course because that's where all the records are and they reckon there's a couple of young guys who want to chase those records.
"We've been getting consistent roll ups in the 40s so we might get close. I'm sure we'll see a couple of the usual A grade riders sign up who haven't done so yet. I know the majority of B graders are already entered and we've got some fast guys entered there.
"Tony Shaw is charging hard at the moment. He won the last time trial out there and wasn't too far away from the record in his grade. We're also hoping to get the current B grade record holder, Geoff Short, out there on the weekend.
The series will continue after this weekend with a 29km two roads scratch on March 21, followed by an 18km 'Screamer' on April 10 and the classic Hurt On The Dirt on April 17.
Then the endurance gets put to the test with a 40km three roads scratch on May 1, the Rockley Mount loop scratch a fortnight later and then another three roads race on June 5.
June 19 sees the BCC Road Championships on the Vale Road Circuit doubling up as the series' penultimate round before the 49km X roads scratch on July 3 completes the calendar.
