The event - a fundraiser for Bathurst Legacy which allows the local branch to support veterans and their families - attracted more than 150 golfers last year.
The $20,000 prize for a hole-in-one on the 13th, courtesy of sponsor Bathurst Real Estate, was not claimed last year, though Bathurst Golf Club president Ray Stapley wasn't far away.
He was just half a metre from holing out.

The prizemoney is back this year, thanks to Bathurst Real Estate, and will no doubt provide an incentive for potential participants to get their names down.
Bathurst Legacy's Paul Favero said the golf day will be held on Sunday, March 28 and will be a teams of four ambrose competition.
Entry fee is $55 per person and it will be booked tee-off times due to COVID-19 restrictons.
"If the rules are relaxed, it will be a shotgun start," he said.
"Entry fee is payable at the Bathurst Golf Club Pro Shop, or phone 6331 1379 to reserve your place.
"Lunch at the Bathurst Golf Club will be included in your entry fee.
"There will be lots of prizes on the day and raffle tickets are available to purchase at the Bathurst Golf Club prior to the event and on the day.
"All proceeds will go to supporting veterans and their families.
"Special thanks go to our generous sponsors, Oberon Military Museum, Radio 2BS and Bathurst Real Estate."
