Federal Member for Calare Andrew Gee announced a $1.04 million project earlier this year - jointly funded by the Federal Government and Bathurst Regional Council - to replace the bridge over Stony Creek on Tarana Road.
Now the NSW Government says the Eusdale Creek Bridge on the same road will be replaced under the Fixing Country Bridges program.
State Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said Bathurst Regional Council had listed replacing the bridge as a priority and $950,000 in funding would allow the project to be fast-tracked.

"I'm glad that in the Bathurst region, we're going to see this bridge replaced under this new round of funding because I know what a difference it will make to entire communities," he said.
Deputy Premier John Barilaro said more than 400 ageing bridges will be replaced by safer, modern bridges under round one of the program.
"Regional councils maintain more than 1800 timber bridges across the state," he said.
Mr Toole said the NSW Government had accelerated funding for the program with more than $290 million shared across 54 councils to replace 424 bridges in round one.
