The program is the work of Isabel Fox and her new start-up Fearless Fox Training - a business devoted to designing and delivering interactive and engaging programs to empower young adults.
"We want to empower young people to live their best lives now and into the future," Ms Fox said.
Fair Play is a two hour is a consent education and sexual assault prevention program designed specifically for sports clubs with players 18-25 years.
"Sexual assault is the issue facing our society at the moment, but it doesn't have to be. We know from report after report into different areas - universities, schools, workplaces - that honest, informed consent education and skills building around perpetrator prevention is the way forward."
The tagline of Fair Play is 'How can you play the game if you don't know the rules?' and the Fearless Fox Training team believe that just like in sport, you wouldn't just jump in and expect to get everything right on the field if no one had ever explained to you how to play the game.
"Watching the news can become overwhelming and negative. We want people to feel hopeful that this problem can be tackled and culture around sexual violence can change so that everyone can have more positive and enjoyable experiences. "Fair Play is the program we need right now!"
Fair Play is on the latest and best research into consent education and programs from around the world that work to prevent sexual assault, particularly through perpetrator prevention.
Fair Play is having a free program launch for committee and club representatives from Bathurst and District sporting clubs on Tuesday, March 30 at 6pm at the Upstairs Hub.
If you or anyone from your club is keen to attend please message the Fearless Fox Training team through Facebook as bookings are essential due to COVID restrictions.
