Broes (68 not out) returned to the crease after retiring unbeaten on 50 earlier in the innings to help chase down the required 23 runs for victory alongside Brett Slattery (15 not out).
SPOB Gold looked to have White on the ropes with the score at 9-154 in pursuit of 177, with Ralph Nicolls leading the way with figures of 4-45.
Broes said there's always mixed feelings when you find success in an intra-club contest - particularly a grand final.
"It was a great partnership between myself and Brett but it's always hard when you play against another team from your club. It was a great game of cricket," he said.
"It was a game that showcased the strength of all our kids. Playing off in a grand final is great for the club."
The two Pat's teams reaching the final is a strong showcase for the club's junior depth, in the eyes of Broes.
"A lot of those kids are just turning 13 and it's a great experience for a lot of them to be playing in a grand final," he said.
"The whole idea of it is to prepare them for the future, and you can tell who the ones are that play junior cricket only compared to president's cup."
Aidan Lindsay's 56 was the standout performance with the bat for Gold.
The opener batted for two and a half hours as he helped his side post a competitive target at Morse Park 2.
Captain Kim Taylor (14) was the only other batsman to reach double figures.
SPOB White's Brett Roach (3-9) was the pick of the bowlers from his side while opener Noah Siede (2-11) was strong across his nine overs.
For Gold, Mitch Lamb (2-14) and Kalou Griggs (2-22) were the other multiple wicket takers.
