The club's publicity officer Jon Maclean said the Bathurst Macquarie Lions food van will be present as usual, but this time the club is participating in the Lions Biggest BBQ 2021.
"This project was instigated to raise funds for the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation, the combined nationwide target being $250,000 by year's end," Mr Maclean said.
"The annual event is the largest fundraiser for the foundation, which aims to achieve 100pc survival for kids with cancer.
"With COVID restrictions in place for much of 2020, fundraising for this marvellous cause was down by as much as 70pc last year, so it is hoped that with restrictions now easing significantly, a far better result can be attained in 2021.
"One hundred per cent of all profits raised by the Bathurst Macquarie Lions food van on the day, and your generous donations at the entrance, will be donated to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation."
With over 70 stalls present last month, Mr Maclean said organisers are planning for a similar turnout this time.
"And the usual popular food and coffee outlets will again be in attendance, adding to the great array of arts, crafts and goods stalls on show," he said.
"Current COVID measures will again be in place at the markets."
The markets will run from 8am to 1pm at Lions Berry Park.
