The garden, located approximately 40 kilometres from Bathurst, is celebrating the cooler months with its annual Autumn Festival.
Over the course of the festival, which runs through to April 25, the full 65-hectare garden, including the 50-hectare private family estate, is open to the public.

Mayfield Garden's Chris Muldoon said now is an excellent time to visit.
"The garden is reaching its peak in terms of colour over the next two weeks, which ties in with the Autumn Festival," he said. "So if you are thinking of coming to the festival in the next two weeks, it's a good time."
In addition to the manicured gardens, people can see attractions such as Australia's largest English Box Hedge maze, the Mayfield amphitheatre, family chapel, water garden, cascade, stumpery, and go rowing on the Mayfield lake.
"All the family activities are open and we'd love to see more families come through over the school holidays," Mr Muldoon said.
There are also a few vacancies remaining for the garden's glamping experience.
Thousands have visited the garden over the festival so far, with in excess of 5000 coming through over Easter.
Tickets to the festival are available online or can be purchased at the gate.
