After five years working out of her home office, Kylie Johnston has expanded her business, Industry Training and Assessment Services, into a new facility at 41C Keppel Street, with new rooms to offer concise training for first aid, health care and WHS.
"I've outgrown the home office, and feel a presence in town will help offer extra services for employees needing to keep workplace qualifications up to date," Ms Johnston said.

"With this new space, I'm now able to offer free, non-accredited CPR training for organisations with volunteers who, while not needing the qualification, will greatly benefit from the knowledge."
The larger facility also creates room for Ms Johnston to offer Certificate III and IV courses in Ageing and Disability, short courses for health care and workplace health and safety [WHS] and justice of the peace services.
She said the expansion of training options is especially timely given the recently published findings from the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
"The Royal Commission's findings recommend staff within the aged care workforce have a minimum Certificate III qualification relevant to their industry and keep training qualifications up to date," she said.
"I offer a lot of courses for aged care and disability workers, including high intensity skills for National Disability Insurance Scheme workers [bowel care, medication administration etc.], and tailored first aid and manual handling skills."
Ms Johnston works with a host of clients in town, including Bathurst RSL Club, Capital Chemist and numerous early learning centres.
"The classes are generally small, and I can offer flexible arrangements to work around everyone's schedule," she said.
