Panthers has shown its early season credentials after downing Bulldogs Verdelho in Bathurst Netball Association A grade on Saturday.

Following the 35-28 win over Bulldogs, Panthers has now won two games from as many matches and Saturday's result was a great one according to coach Di Coombes.
"I thought our centre court was really strong, our defence did really well and we're getting a few new combinations working well," she said.
"It's always a good game against [Bulldogs], always really close. They're still a strong, good old team.

"Our performance was good, especially considering the heat on the day, being a bit hot.
"We didn't lose our heads when the pressure come on, rather we went away with it in the end, which was really good."
Panthers is still without the services of Ella Muller is unavailable due to injury, but Coombes is hoping she'll be back next month.
Coombes has also been pleased with the number of new players that have joined her senior team this year, including the likes of Tessa Welsh, Kathryn Richardson, Clancy Best and Abby Leven.
"We've got four new players we've taken in this year, which is good because we've lost a few now graduating from uni and going on to get jobs," she said.
"I'm really happy with how we've started."
Panthers' win over Bulldogs on Saturday has the team in second, behind reigning champions Collegians Mystified in first, the same team that defeated Panthers in the A grade grand final last year.
In other results on the weekend, Superstars United defeated Bulldogs Hurricanes 40-25, Nova Sky got the best of Panthers Allsorts 43-35 and Collegians Mystified downed Scots All Saints College 1st VII 53-42.
The ladder reads as: 1 Collegians Mystified, 2 Panthers, 3 Nova Sky, 4 Scots All Saints College 1st VII, 5 Superstars United, 6 Bulldogs Verdelho, 7 Bulldogs Hurricanes, 8 Panthers Allsorts.
Round three will be played on May 8, with Hurricanes playing Panthers, Verdelho up against Nova Sky, Allsorts facing Collegians and Superstars against SASC.
