With a score of 83 from 18 holes on day one, Royal's competitors were right behind her, but a dominant display on a rain-affected day two saw her hit a score of 74 from 18 holes, for a total of 157, 12 shots ahead of second.
Bathurst women's club captain Manor Cooper said Royal was thrilled to have won the Bathurst Women's Golf Open title in her first attempt.

"After the first round, there was a bunch of players that were all even, but come day two Danae streaked away to win by 12 shots," she said.
"It was her first time here, so she was really thrilled to win. We had some younger players, who were all about the same handicap, below 10 markers. It was very competitive.
"From what I can gather, she played beautifully. She played five below her handicap of 67. It was an outstanding off the stick score.
"She blew the field away, especially considering the conditions and that she never played the course before."
Rain affected the start of play on Tuesday morning, resulting in golf starting almost an hour late at 9am, however, the weather conditions wouldn't go on to affect any players.
With the win, Royal will now get her named etched onto the Blair Athol Cup, a trophy that has been contested for every year since 1925, bar last year because of the coronavirus pandemic and from 1942 to 1944 due to World War Two.
Royal would finish ahead of Lousea Johnston (165) and Casey Thompson (166), who finished in second and third respectively.
In the division two contest, Bathurst golfer Monique Hagerty would claim victory with a score 196, six shots ahead of Sue Cregan in second.
Division three glory would go to Kay Sandridge after a score of 220, hitting consistent scores of 110 on both days. Sandridge finished ahead of local golfers Margaret Kullen (223) and Gaye Withers (233) in second and third respectively.
A foursomes tournament was also held at the club on the Wednesday, with the division one title going to Linda Pellew and Pamela Geddes from St Michael's Golf Club in Sydney with a score of 85.
Division two success in the foursomes went to Gwen Hadlow and Colleen Davis from Bathurst with a score of 104.
